My 05 with the Bose 6 CD changer XM radio - does it play MP3's or was that some special option to make it play MP3's? I googled and I can't find out anything about these stereos.

I've started restoring my '81 which has been sat in a field on a Welsh mountain for the last few years - so this will probably be the first of many, many questions. Apologies in advance... A fresh battery has given me working lights, wipers, electric seats,

| C5 weatherstripping | 06 Dec 2006 16:36 GMT | 1 |
My 2000 C5 coupe is just past 50,000 miles, and the weatherstripping where the rear of the left and right windows meet the removable top looks like it isn't a very good seal. The car also has some wind noise. (No surprise.) I can buy replacement weatherstripping from

A minute or two after starting my '07 coupe almost every time (or perhaps the first time of the day) I hear this tapping noise from the rear passenger side quarter. When my wife first heard it, she said that it sounded like a squirrel in the atic. It could also be

| Synthetic Tranny Fluid | 04 Dec 2006 14:35 GMT | 1 |
Would it extend the transmission life by draining (or flushing) the old transmission fluid and putting in synthetic. Is this a good idea at 100k + miles? I understand flushing can break loose particles that can later cause problems, but would draining it and putting synthetic fluid ...

| Another prepurchase vette question | 04 Dec 2006 03:38 GMT | 5 |
I know this isn't usually advised but any opinions on buying an extended warrantee on a new vette? I know from reading on other new cars, its usually ill advised unless you drive a lot. Just wondered if the vette was no different for this? Any idea the general pricing

| Before purchasing | 03 Dec 2006 22:14 GMT | 4 |
Is it fairly easy to rent a corvette (with regard to availability) for a week or couple of days to get the feel of it before deciding to purchase one? I suppose the price isn't cheap but for the point of this discussion I'll ignor that.
