As in, where the hell are they! Or maybe I should ask - "where would
they normally be, as I've searched from front to back & I'm sure there
aren't any fitted".
Both the factory & Haynes manuals aren't being helpful.

Havent read the writeup yet, but, was wondering how much they run , and,

2000 Vette - camshaft damper29 Jan 2007 22:40 GMT2
Hey Dad, Ric, etc.
In replacing the belts on my 2000 Vette, looks like the camshaft damper (may have been the crankshaft damper?) had major play, which contributed to the squeaking.  Sound about right to you all?

It will not be quite show quality as I plan on it being
Tire Recommend for '63 Split Window26 Jan 2007 20:15 GMT6
I've got a restored '63 split window vette.  It's been running on
Continental SportContact2 tires, but I'm unhappy with the road holding
of these tires.
Any recommendations for vettes of this era would be appreciated.
Hard shifting into 3rd a problem with C5, others?26 Jan 2007 00:36 GMT7
I tried hard shifting a C5 ('99) 6-speed manual under full acceleration into
3rd gear a few times.  I always had a difficult time.  It was frustrating.
I couldn't do it right.  Are there others who can say the same about C5.  Or
is this a common thing more to any Vettes more in ...

I applied belt dressing, and squeaking got worst!?!

Dealer woes21 Jan 2007 12:42 GMT4
I recently bought a '92 from American Sportscar Center.  While the
initial purchase was ok the post sales support in documenting the car
for emissions, tax and tag was a hassle.  I can no longer recommend
this dealer.
