76 shift knob20 Mar 2007 04:00 GMT1
Seems like it would be simple, but how does the shift knob come off?
It will unscrew to a point then gets hard. I stop because I'm afraid
of breaking or stripping something.
Thanks
What the hell is this?20 Mar 2007 03:31 GMT4
I changed out my emergency brake handle assembly in my '77. The lever
was broken. Anyways...when I took apart the console I found this filter
thingy laying inside. It appears to have fallen in the counsole along with
some spare change. My question is,  is this a Corvette part?.. ...

I have a 1999 Corvette and only 26000 miles of the car. I have been told that
the coolant becomes gunky if it is not run more. I don't drive it to often
but keep it well maintained. Has anyone heard of this issue with coolant?

Put the new exhaust system on today, in a friend's garage.  He has a lift,
which made it nice.  I don't think I'd have liked to do this with
jackstands.  Start to finish it took 2 hours with 3 guys working.  Simple
job really.  I still have to haul the old system off to a ...
