    I towed the Vette down south last weekend getting some new fiberglass,
Fixing some cracks and a fresh coat (or 8) of paint. Engine and trans came
out this week, both getting a good work over. Mainly the tranny engine is

I've ready that the bulbs in the dash, on a C4 can be replaced
with 194 bulbs and appropriate bulb holders.
good side is the bulbs are cheaper, and easier to get
but the down side is the dash is dimmer.

Here is an interesting thing to try. I have a 2007 Corvette with OnStar and

In addition to the 1970 BB, i also have a 2006 LS2 with a 160 f. stat
installed ;  this cooling system is remarkable as when its 98 f. outside

I hear the 327 I have came from a 'vette.  I hear the heads are 'nice.'  I put
the thing in a 350 monza, but never got around to finishing that project.
How special are the heads anyway?

Rebuilding the front suspension (1977) and noticed that the front sway
bar upper bushing (on both sides) is smashed like a pancake. What
would cause this, and is there anything I can do about this? Possibly
improper installation procedure? By the way, the bushings are rubber.

I would like to purchase used tools to rebuild my 72 Vette rear
spindles. I am looking for al of them - bushing flaring tool, spindle
setup tool, etc.

I have a 76 that needs the ignition switch changed. I have the wheel
off, but can't figure out how to get the next piece off to get access
to the key clinder and switch. It looks like a flat plastic cover.

Have a 2006 C6 with the manual rearview mirror.
When I exit the car the instrument lights shut off immediately as
expected but the reading lights on the mirror remain on for about 15
minutes.

What is the initial timing of the distributor  (w/vac. adv. plugged) @ 600
rpm? I have the shop manual and can't find this setting in it. Can anybody
relay to me the page this setting is on, if it is in the manual. I've went
