C6 diecast ,or Corvette17 Nov 2007 07:14 GMT29
Has anyone noticed the cheap plastic interior in the C6?
I was trying to open the glove box of my new '08 LS3; when, to my
surprise, the cheap plastic toggle broke-off in my hand. It was the
third time, I had ever use the glove box!

'07 coupe for sale $39k14 Nov 2007 14:48 GMT12
I have a velocity yellow 2007 C6 coupe I'm selling. Miles are 3,500.
Asking $39k. Hardly ever drove it; just on sundays. Kept in the
garage. Still has new car smell. $39k is a heck of a lot cheaper than
anyone on Ebay or dealers for this car/miles. Email me if interested

renting a corvette09 Nov 2007 14:22 GMT5
Having found one or two other threads very informative, I was
wondering if, in the major cities, you can rent a corvette for say a
week at these major car rentals without going to the exotic car rental
places?  I'm thinking this might be a good way to see if I like the

1996 Clutch Question06 Nov 2007 22:35 GMT2
I have a 1996 vette with the LT4 engine.  It has about 50K miles but
they were mostly city and stop and go.
Lately the clutch engages much lower than usual when cold then goes
back to normal when the car's warmed up.
Ready for winter06 Nov 2007 19:00 GMT16
Took the time to get the Corvette ready for winter. Oil and filter,
lube (yes, it has grease zerks), air filter, checked anti freeze pH,
and freezing point, washed it with Dawn, washed the inside-windows in
and out, put on the rain tires and retrained the sensors. Need to add

I had a 93 vette vert and a 96.  Loved the 96. Sold it to get a newer
one.  Found a newer one buy the money was spent already on stuff
like.... mortgage
Anyway, ready to jump back in.  I drove a 07 vert in Florida. Great
