| Don't believe Corvette owners lies about supposed fuel economy | 15 May 2008 03:01 GMT | 63 |
They'll lie and tell people that Corvettes get 28 MPG, when the truth is that the C6 ZO6 gets 24 MPG, the C6 Auto Coupe gets 25 mpg, and the C6 Manual gets 26 MPG. It costs well over $5 just to drive 25 in gas alone on top of the wear

| Frame Crack | 14 May 2008 16:39 GMT | 2 |
Took my 77 to an alignment shop today and the tech pointed out a small crack in the frame on the drivers side near the lower control arm and coil spring. He says that he sees this a lot on the C3's and wouldn't do the alignment until I have it fixed. He wants $500 (Remove control

| Gel car batteries | 14 May 2008 03:56 GMT | 4 |
I was in an auto parts store and in conversation, the gel batteries came up. Unfortunately I could buy a regular 36mos/84mos. battery for $85 (w/core) and the same gel was $200 (I guess with core also). Anyway around where I am, the average battery is good for 3 to 4 years

| More Corvette ZR1 KILLERS out of Japan | 07 May 2008 14:30 GMT | 3 |
As badly as the GTR crushed the ZO6 in 0-60, 1/4 mile, and at the Nurburg ring and the GTR Spec-V crushed the ZR1 at the ring as well, the BASE 552 bhp Lexus L-FA even crushed the ZR1 worse than that. The GTR spec V only beat the ZR1 by about 16 seconds, while the LF-A beat

About the end of March I asked this group about the brakes on my 1970 350 cu in. 350 hp. convertible. The consensus was new callipers. I got new back callipers and all the parking brake bits and that is all OK, but before bleeding the rear and replacing the front, I
