GM, help is here?30 Apr 2009 14:36 GMT19
I contend that for a nation to try to tax itself into prosperity is
like a man standing in a bucket and trying to lift himself up by the
handle. -- Winston Churchill
If you think health care is expensive now, wait until you see what it
Good GM/Bad GM29 Apr 2009 00:51 GMT91
Recent Obama Administration statements indicate a willingness to try to
save some of GM, but not all of it, an obvious solution for a company so
buried in debt, bad products, obsolete factories, and legacy costs that aid
for the whole would mean subsidies to the end of time.  The ...

Hesitation on Inclines/Declines 96LT1 Auto26 Apr 2009 16:51 GMT2
I’ve got 96 LT1 auto, that recently started doing a slight hesitation
on inclines and declines.  It’s not where it backfires or anything
like that, it’s just a very slight hesitation.  It’s been doing this
for a few months and luckily it’s not getting any worst.  On a flat
How to save GM and the Corvette25 Apr 2009 21:45 GMT22
How to Save GM
New product. The Forever Car. Advertised as the last car you will ever

C4 engine has no power24 Apr 2009 00:41 GMT16
I took my 1990 C4 out of winter storage last week.  I drove it about
50 mile the first day with no problems.  The next day it will only
idle.  When I press the accelerator pedal, the engine loses power and
stalls unless I release the pedal where it settles into an idle
Took the Vette to Home Depot Today22 Apr 2009 16:00 GMT9
And I parked it next door at the Pet Smart in the Prius area!   No one even
got close to me.
Then I went to Costco and parked over at the Radio Shack.
I bought a bag of Kirkland cat food, a case of canned dog food, two 3-globe
Radiator support in '76 vette20 Apr 2009 15:55 GMT1
I noticed some looseness in my radiator and checked it out. The bottom
support has rotted which I guess is not uncommon in a 30+ year old
car. In my searching on the web, I see there is an early model and
then one for late 76 to I think it was 82.
Hello...new to the group and a new C4 owner...my first vette, so     naturally I have a few questions.19 Apr 2009 18:30 GMT3
I am new in here and new to the world of corvette's, so please forgive
my ignorance if  I ask what may be common knowledge for most
concerning vette's, until I get a little better educated.
Just picked my vette up Thursday and made the 7 hour road trip home.

The Black Hills Corvette Club has a Corvette Rally the week of July 15-18,

Rally with me. I will be drving from Omaha, Nebraska to Sioux Falls, SD for
the first night of activity. Then the drives will ...

GM can't go chapter 11 now, Obama's buddies in the UAW
must be protected, no matter the cost.

Brake Metering Valve15 Apr 2009 03:23 GMT1
'75 Vette.  There is a metering valve below the brake master cylinder that
meters brake fluid to the different wheels and has an electrical contact for
the brake light.  On the side of this valve is a small rubber diaphragm
about 1/4 in. in diam.  There is a pinhole behind this ...

Detroit Three find hope in centerfield.
This certainly tells you something about the man.
When the Tigers open their season this week, fans will look to
centerfield at Comerica Park and see the greenery, the flagpoles and
