Looking for some nice interior shots.....27 May 2009 15:10 GMT6
Of the '74 / 75 Vette.
Preferably Silver, but more importantly anything but black.
I'm a little hampered searching with a slow assed dial up - so if anyone
knows of some links I'll go check them out.
Striping a vette?25 May 2009 04:58 GMT1
Hi... I have a 1977 bright orange (Ontario Orange) vette. I was thinking
about getting something to contrast the colour on the hood. Perhaps
something small in Black saying "350" in the spot where an L-82 would
sit...or somehing saying "high Performance" in black letters as an
Is there an article somewhere??24 May 2009 05:18 GMT18
That lists all the 68isms that changed from 1969 forward? Or perhaps a paper
that covers the running changes in general to the C3?

HELP!23 May 2009 21:10 GMT1
I have a STOCK BEAUTIFUL 86 that has 255/50/16 all the way around. They are
starting to show there age (cracks, road noise, ect.). I want to replace my
tires but it seems that 255/50/16 are very hard to come by nowadays.
What size(s) can I safely replace without buying new rims.
What to buy23 May 2009 03:16 GMT6
I can buy a 2006 Corvette with only 10k miles for a very low price.
The thing is - it was wrecked and then restored. The title will say
"salvage".
The shop that did the work does only Corvettes and they have an
Who are the vendors now?19 May 2009 04:21 GMT14
Back when I was real active I remember Mid-America Corvette, Ecklers, and
one other vendor who used to send me mail order catalogs.
I assume it's all online now.... anyone got a list of the vendors that sell
the good stuff cheap  :)  ??
Manual Transmission Question?16 May 2009 19:57 GMT7
Now we come to the reason I actually came to this forum - and it was not to
talk about speeding tickets and Cadillac "trucks"  :)
Has anyone here "retrofitted" an older Vette with a modern 6 speed overdrive
tranny?
AC temperature control problem (C5 )14 May 2009 06:06 GMT1
Passenger side dial is set in the center default position. No matter
where I adjust the driver's side dial the passenger side is blowing ice
cold and the driver's side is barely cool at all. What is going on?
Repair/Replacement of 12-Disc CD Player13 May 2009 13:04 GMT3
The GM factory installed  Pioneer 12-Disc CD Player in my
2001 C5 locked up and would not even eject the carrier.
The GM dealer wanted way too much money to pull it, ship
it off for repair and reinstall.

7 quarts of oil in a 2001 vette11 May 2009 01:50 GMT9
I took my Vette in for an oil change. The tech put in 7 quarts,  but only
6.5 quarts is called for. Will the extra 1/2 quart harm  the engine. Should
I take it back and have him remove 1/2 quart?
