Old Vinyl Softener?24 Jun 2009 05:22 GMT10
OK....  I just picked up a pair of near pristine 1969 seats that were lost
in a storage building for a long long time.  The vinyl is very "stiff" and
before I clean the seats or armor-all the seats or whatever - I want to know
what to spray / soak them with to soften them up a good ...
Fuel rail on '93 falling apart22 Jun 2009 19:07 GMT24
My '93 was running very poorly. I took it to my service guy who
diagnosed a clogged fuel injector. He cleaned it, and the car ran well
again for one day. I took it back in, and he saw that there was crud on
the intake for the injector. He then saw that the fuel line was filled
GM bumps price of 2010 Corvette ZR1 up $2,910 to $107,83022 Jun 2009 02:45 GMT2
Supercar performance from a 638hp supercharged V8 engine, carbon fibe
bodywork and sharp styling should all add up to a price tag in th
$200,000+ range if you look to the competition, but the Corvette ZR1'
unmatched value put its sticker price at just $104,920 for 2009. Tha
news groups vanishing21 Jun 2009 18:17 GMT10
It seems that ATT is no longer going to have access to these news/help
groups after 7/15.  What news/help groups do you folks use that you could
recommend after they shut this down ?  Where will we find advice and help
from the more experienced folks like Dad, Bob G, Key, Tom in ...
Help: 2002 C5 intermittent cranking issue19 Jun 2009 03:57 GMT4
This one is probably headed for the dealer.  I just haven't made up my
mind whether to drive it there now (risking a monster disagnostics
effort that doesn't come up with the right solution); or, waiting until
it fails completely and having it towed to the dealer.  Or maybe ...

Transmission fluid change12 Jun 2009 20:11 GMT10
I need to change the fluid and filter in my 1976 corvette.
I called the local stealership and by the time they are done with
materials, fluid,
labour, and taxes, it is around $350. They wanted over $80 for a
'77 Corvette10 Jun 2009 06:49 GMT14
I'm going to look at a '77 that I know is going to need a lot of cosmetic work, as the car spent a
lot of time in the sun.  Is there anything in particular that I should look for as far as mechanical
or other issues that are particular to this year?  The price I'm hearing is ...
2010 Camaro SS10 Jun 2009 01:57 GMT10
Any one see a 2010 Camaro SS on the road.  Wonder how well they are selling.
I see a few 6 cylinders advertised from the dealers on Edmunds.com
Leave it to GM to debut this car while they are in BK.  Idiots.

performance and fuel efficiency. Alongside this, the transmission
system has been optimized for the Ritz to match Indian driving habits.
Followup.   2008 Z06 Battery Draw Problem08 Jun 2009 13:51 GMT9
Reference way below on my Z's battery draw down problem and going dead after
5 or 6 days.    After half a dozen futile trips to the dealer I purchased it
from, I tried another dealer's service center across town to find the
problem.

Tire Pressure Sensors05 Jun 2009 10:36 GMT7
My C5 left rear tire pressure sensor shows 27# with 32# in it.  The
right rear shows 32#.  Both read 32# with tire gauge.  What is the fix
for this?
2004 HVAC Diplay02 Jun 2009 21:44 GMT4
Over the past 6 months or so the display for the HVAC controls has
gotten progressively dimmer.  Now it is totally dark so I can't tell
what the outside temp is or see what I have the HVAC set at.  I've
checked all of the fuses and they are all good.  Does anyone have any
