Cooling fan question 198931 Jul 2009 20:16 GMT2
1989 38K miles, single fan, Fan runs as soon as you start the car and
stays on as long as it is running and air conditioner is off.
To me it is wrong that the fan runs all the time even when the car is
cold ?
Keyless Fob30 Jul 2009 00:33 GMT2
would anyone know if a fob for a 2001 would work on a 2000 & would you
program it the same way? Reading the ad for a 2001 model, they claim it
won't work & that it has to be programed by the dealer, but it seems
I've read someplace that the 01 would work.
Which One?26 Jul 2009 18:58 GMT25
Just wanted to get some opinions on which of these would be better in
the long run. I'm planning on keeping and driving it for a while -
probably years.Would the C4 be better because of the lower mileage, or
would the newer C5 hold up well, since it won't be long before it

Diminished value25 Jul 2009 23:49 GMT10
Diminished Value is the loss in market value that occurs when a vehicle
is wrecked and repaired. Insurance companies will only offer you part of what
is due if anything is offered at all.
Don't let the insurance company tell you how much. Ask The Experts at

"GTR no match for this hyperpowered group"
I got to find about $107,000.  Maybe I could use my Home Line of Credit.
I am lucky.  I still have $600,000 of equity.
Suggestion on Corvette year to buy15 Jul 2009 00:29 GMT4
I am interested in purchasing a Corvette and would like a suggestion
on a year or year range.   I am just going to use it as a fun "driver"
and I would like it to be probably no older than 12 to 15 years old.
I have owned two others in my lifetime (a '63 gold split window and a

Opinions?11 Jul 2009 14:37 GMT8
I have looked at an '82 CE.  No longer a numbers matching car (not important to me), it has a
350/330 horse GM crate engine and a 700R4 crate transmission, both with about 4,000 miles on them.
It has a MI salvage title, but I've seen pictures and documentation that show that ...

I have a 76 and the fuel guage is all over the map. It seems to be
sticking.
It usually will read right off the map - full, full, full. Then If I
stop or decelerate suddenly it will go down to where the normal
Thanks for Run Flat Tires08 Jul 2009 15:15 GMT17
We had a major tire event on the way over to Pearland, TX on the Sam
Houston Toll Road out in the boonies.  The C5's DIC (digital information
display) went nuts saying WARNING right rear tire needs service NOW.
We were in the boonies and there was NO place to stop for service. I
