Question about burned CD's and my 99 Malibu's CD player29 Mar 2004 21:13 GMT6
I have a 99 Malibu LS and when I try to use burned CD's in the player,
nost of them seem to skip.  Has anyone had success with any particular
brand of CD that works better than others for music disks?

Anyone bring there Malibu in to the dealer yet to fix the problem with the
latest recall? My dealer says its a 2 1/2 hour job to replace a bushing.

My hushband installed a radio in the car.  He hooked up a 100 watt fuse
from the battery.  Now the gas gauge doesnt work.  Everything else does
though.  We looked at the fuses but can not find which one it is.  Or if
we are even look at the right fuse box.  Could you please help us ...

I've been looking at Malibus, and noticed that alot of them have moisture in
the headlights. Is this a known problem that GM has a fix for?

The locks on the 2001 Malibu lock and unlock at the start and stop (in park).  The unlocking part has stopped working.  Wondering if anyone has had this happen and if they had it fixed it.  Looking for an estimate to fix it, if I care to bother with it.

There are five settings for the AC/Heat fan speed in the 1999 Malibu.  In my car 1 & 2 do not work but 3-5 work just fine.  How can this be?  Could 1 & 2 run on a different circuit than 3-5?  Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.  This is quite an annoying problem.  ...

I am changin the rotors on a 99 Malibu. The rotor bracket bolts on one
side are very hard to get off. In fact, I have rounded one of the

I have a 1998 malibu 3.1l with 45,000miles on it.
The problem is that when I first start it in the morning the idle speed goes
up and down between 1,000 and about 1,500 RPM for about 1 min then
everything is fine.It's not giving any codes.Could it be a sensor or could I

hi  I repleaced the front disc brakes.  the pad with the rub wear piece?
Does it go on the inside or outside of the wheel.  It seems to fit

It was the breaks I replaced the rotor and bads on the right side.
But...
when I went to remove the caliper braket to remove the rotor on the
left side one of the bolts is rounded. (I think because the only 13mm
