97 Malibu Stalls when Cold08 Mar 2004 13:06 GMT3
It's fine when it warms up but stalls pretty bad for a while when
accelerating from a stand still. I have the 4 Cyl engine and have 65,000
miles. New fuel filter but never had a tune up or injector cleaning yet. The
car runs GREAT when its warm. Any suggestions?
Coolant Leak on 2003 Malibu07 Mar 2004 18:13 GMT4
I have a 2003 Malibu with a 3.1 engine that sometimes leaks coolant on the
driveway. I looked for the leak, and found orange coolant in the cavities on
either side of the engine, as well as the cavities on top of it (where the
fuel injectors are). I brought it to the dealer - 30000 ...
2004 Malibu Maxx Resolution06 Mar 2004 20:20 GMT4
Just wanted to let you all know that I picked my Malibu Maxx up today
from the dealership. The problem seems to be corrected, but until I
drive it for a few days I won't know. The big problems (the break lights
coming on while driving down the road and the cruise control not
99 Malibu sound coming from right front of car06 Mar 2004 19:38 GMT11
My wife's Malibu exhibits an occasional "whine" coming from the right

has done it just going straight. Does not increase or decrease with
engine speed. I cant reproduce the sound when I want to under the
'98 Malibu starts but cuts out when I release the key06 Mar 2004 13:22 GMT2
I have a 98 Malibu that was working fine.  Yesterday it wouldn't start.  It cranks over just fine and it starts, but as soon as I release the key so it spings back to the "run" position, the engine cuts out.
Battery's good, Fuses are good.  Any ideas?
Any help would be greatly ...
Brake & Rotors - Malibu 200106 Mar 2004 13:19 GMT5
I recently moved to the USA from the UK and now own a Malibu 2001.  The
brake pads and rotors are needing replaced and I was hoping you could
recommend a decent manufacture of rotors and pads as I am thinking of
replacing them myself. I was looking at the price differences between ...
97 Lumina occasionally  starts rough - check engine soon blinking06 Mar 2004 13:14 GMT1
Occasionally this car runs very rough on startup.
This happens after driving 20 miles and leaving it alone  in parking lot for
an hour.
Symtoms are that the "check engine light blinks" and engine misfires.
New re-call05 Mar 2004 04:26 GMT2
Heard there is a new re-call coming out for 97-98 Malibu.  Something to do
with steering componets?  Anybody heard anything or notified yet?

Less than 92 octane = check engine soon, what's wrong?02 Mar 2004 12:00 GMT6
whenever I fill my Chevy Lumina '97 with anything less than 92 octane, it
starts pinging, "check engine soon" is blinking. According to the manual,
even 87 should be OK. What might be the problem?
Thanks

Does anyone know of a site that list GM paint color codes
ABS Light01 Mar 2004 19:16 GMT3
When I start my 99 Malibu, the ABS light comes on immediately, and it does
not go off.  Could this be the result of bad rotors, or bad brake
adjustment?  There is no doubt that my rotors are in poor condition - and
the brakes could use adjustment.
