We have a new 2003 Malibu as a 4th car. Currently 3 000 miles on it and seems to get very poor mileage in City driving ~ 20 mpg but highway seems to be in 30+ range. Can others share experiences. Car is not driven hard in city. Does cold weather and or short trips really impact ...

Has anyone had to replace the A/C button control in there Malibu and if so did you get cheap parts. The service dealership said over $300 to fix it. Thanks. Mike

I'm going to have a tune-up done to my 97, 4 cylinder Malibu even though it only has 66,000 miles. Any recommendation about what type of Platinum plugs I should use? Should I stick with original GM plugs or get something else. Someone said Bosch Platinum +4 plugs were good.

I recently had my front rotors and brakes replaced, but now almost everytime I start my car the ABS light comes on. I turn the car off to reset it and it usually stays off until the next trip. I just wanted to see if this could be a larger problem or just another minor glitch ...

Recently I am finding that its does not start right away but requires several cranks to get it going. Any ideas as to why this is happening will be appreciated. Jay

Is the Service Engine light on a 2000 Malibu supposed to reset on its own after the problem is resolved (ie. replacement of gas cap). Or does it require resetting by a diagnostic computer (even though the error has been corrected)?

this is about a 00 Malibu (60kM, w/ factory stereo). The back speakers are not working anymore. It started when they were cutting in and out periodically, a few miles later, there is nothing anymore.
