just picked up a 80 malibu with a 3.8 but it's shot and can't find a
replacement but I'm told that a v8 will bolt up to the stock tranny but
not sure if it's accurate info. anyone know where I can find the answers I
need?

I am thinking of trading/selling my VW for the 2004 or 2005 Malibu.
For 2004 the Malibu is completely redesigned.  What is everyone's
comments on this car?  Any problems?  If so, what kind?

My reception used to be great, now it stinks. I heard that there is a wire
that often loses conection that causes decreased reception.  Does anyone
know anyting about this?

I just got my first 15 point oil change done in my 98 chevy malibu.
Since then a warning light has been continuously been lit. Its
situated just below the engine temperature gauge and looks like a
rectangle with some fluid and a downward facing arrow mark. Does

Car runs perfect but getting terrible gas mileage and check engine light

I have a "something loose" sensation in the front end of my 2000 Impala.
Only feel it when I drive slow, and over slight bumps.  I've removed the
front wheels and can feel axial end play (in and out) in both drive

The flasher relay behind my hazard warning switch carries on working after
I have used my turn signals, it does not flash the signal lights but just
makes a clicking noise, sometimes once or twice sometimes for a couple or

2000 Malibu 3.1 , i have the brake and rotor problem just like every owner
of this car but the temperature gauge will move slowly over half way of the
scale . the fans work and i had the system checked out at the dealer and
they found nothing wrong with the cooling system.

I was pulling away from a traffic light recently when the tension on the gas
pedal of my 98 Malibu snapped.  The pedal went to the ground and there was
just enough momentum for me to pull into the parking lot of a home
improvement center.

problem that has been noted on this board before. Can anyone give me some
insight on the problem and cost? Alternates between blowing cold and warm air.
