Malibu Spare Key $$$$29 Sep 2004 05:14 GMT4
I had the dealer make me a spare key for my new 2004 Malibu.  He took a
blank off his rack, put it in a grinder and made a copy, just like a
hardware store would do.  But the blank key had a "chip" that had to "learn"
my car's code.

New problem with surging.  I took a trip to Memphis (about 1 hr for
me) and during the trip the acceleration hesitated some.  Then my wife
started to stall the car by running it down to 1/8-1/4 of a tank and
the car would be dry.  Now when we take off from a stand still, the

Any info appreciated.

Best tires for malibu16 Sep 2004 01:15 GMT9
Does anyone have a tire (P215/60R15) recommendation for the malibu? My
2000 Malibu LS is due for tires, after 63,000 miles.  The Firesone
Affinity's have fared well, but I'm looking into Michelin/Goodyear.
Also, should the tire pressue on the door always be used? I've always
Problems With Fuel Filter16 Sep 2004 01:12 GMT3
I was trying to change my fuel filter on my 98 Malibu and encountered some
problems. I did not know that a tool was required to release the "quick
release", so I played with it for hours trying to figure it out, while
doing this, I broke off the four tabs on it. When I finally got ...
