Towing wiring31 Dec 2004 06:46 GMT1
I got a drawtite converter module for my Malibu. Originally, I was going to
wire it in the trunk and just run it out the trunk lid when needed.  But
seeing how bad it looks on other vehicles AND knowing it would rub on the
paint while driving down the road, I opted to install it ...

I recently installed a hitch on my 02 Malibu.  Hats off to Hidden hitch for
engineering a nice setup.  The hitch bar insert is the only part seen from
the rear.  When its removed there is a cover.  I'll run the wiring module
this weekend. If anyone has towed with their malibu, ...

04 Malibu key bobs25 Dec 2004 20:31 GMT2
I just purchased a "used" 2004 Malibu Classic.  I was given 2 keys.  One had
the alarm remote door open 'bob' and the second key bob was handed to me
later.  It seems the second one does not work.  Both have the number 1
stamped on the back.  The salesman said he thought I should ...

Can anyone tell me the procedure for replacing the alternator in a 2001
Malibu.  I have done some basic mechanic work.  Is the belt the main issue
in doing the replacement?

Transmission problems23 Dec 2004 05:41 GMT5
Hello, I have a 99 Monte Carlo with about 140k miles on it. A few months ago
I had the transmission fluid replaced and it started doing weird things a
few weeks later. I've checked the level when it's hot and the car is running
and I don't see a problem.
AFTERMARKET RADIO INSTALL????  HELP ME PLZ19 Dec 2004 00:32 GMT3
I just installed an aftermarket radio but I can't get it to work, the

I just bought an aftermarket radio and can't find the right adapter to put
in the car, apparently I need one that costs 60 Dollars?  Do I NEED this or

High Intensity Bulbs17 Dec 2004 04:33 GMT10
I have a 99 Malibu.  The lights are fairly good on high beam, but I find
them a little weaker than I would like on low beam.  I am curious if anyone
has tried different light bulbs in the Malibu and what their success has
been?  I don't want to be ridiculously bright (because there ...

I have a 98 Malibu and the horn is not working. I checked the fuse and
it was blown, replaced it and still not working. When you press the
steering wheel you can hear the relay in the fuse box in the engine
compartment click.  Anyone have any ideas?
Question for the groups re:  antique cars11 Dec 2004 00:00 GMT3
First time posting.
My family used to own a garage in the late '60's.  Once we closed it, all of
our stock was put in storage.  I'd like to get rid of a warehouse full of
parts for Fords, Chevy's circa 1940-1960.  I'll be inventorying the parts
