I've had my Maxx for 1 month now and twice the check engine light has
come on due to the gas cap.  I've double checked the thing every time I
fuel, but still get this signal.  Can I reset the code or do I have to

zup guyz!  I recently had my Chevy from a friend, it's a 1998 model an old one yeah but I think it's still pretty much in shape, except that the starter needs immediate replacement.  
I also need the ff:
- 6cyl, 2.4L radiator
- alternator

When Malibus came out they had 4 c and v6 and then they stopped and only 4
c. I think for the 05-06  they have both.
Does anyone know why they did this?

Is it real that turing on the A/C while going in high speeds is
harmful to the cooling system ?
what about shifting from recirculation to outside air , can that be
harmful in high speeds ?

   Can anyone tell me a way to clear the engine fault codes other than
disconnecting the battery on a '98 Malibu. I believe the check engine light
is on because of my worn out gas cap. I installed a new cap but the light is
still there and I don't want to wait the reportedly 60 ...

My daughter had a 2000 Malibu, this car has 48,000 miles. the car was
reposessed, we got it back as my parents co signed.  we have fixed the 5
smashes on the body, but the turn signals do not work, the hazard lights
do not stop unless we remove the fuse.  Also, the blower only works ...
