I have a 5 yo Malibu, V6, 98k miles.
The car is garaged and the temp is  mild (like 50 deg at night)
This morning, whe I tried to start it, I got half a crank, then
nothing. Thought my battery was dead, but the radio was still running

My check engine light came on just days after I had the oil changed. I took
it back to the local service station when I had the oil changed. They plug
in a decoder and told me that I needed to take it to a muffler shop. I
took it to a muffler shop they told me there was nothing ...

Have read some of the discussions on mileage.
If you were going to 'do it again', which engine would be your choice

I'm way past the racing stage, but wondered if the 2.2 was decent

This car barely has 30000 miles and yet when I start it and for several
minutes after starting I am getting a very strong smell of gas.  I never
pump the accelarator when starting so I dont think it is flooding.
Otherwise it seems to run fine....why would it smell like gasoline?

I took my daughters 97 malabo in for inspection
When we came back I was glad to see that it past. As the malabo drove off
I notice alot of dark smoke was coming out of the tale pipe. She called me
to tell me the car had died in the middle of the highway. I had to jump

My 2001 Malibu has no output when the blower is on the first 2 settings.
There is no air moving through the vents, nor is there any noise.  I
posted this on another site, and they recommended changing the resistor on
the blower, or perhaps cleaning the switch.

Hi everyone I got a good question my computer has shut down cylenders 2,4
for no apairent reason this happend before and the ecm was replaiced now
it did it again what the heck is going on??????  Eveywere i take it nobody
knows why!!!!

Out of the blue there seems to be a strong gasoline smell coming from

I have a '98 that won't start and don't know what has happened.  The
antitheft light has come on when I tried to start it the last time and all
that happens when I put the key in the ignition is the rpm gauge will
fluctuate from 0 to 5 grand, the cabin lights come on and the clock ...

I have a 2000 malibu and am having trouble with the key not turning in the
ignition. It doesn't happen all the time. Only on occasion. The steering
wheel isn't locked and I can't figure out what to do.

Does anyone know how to change the rear spoiler lights and where can I get
them?  I was told by a parts store that it is a dealer part only, but I
would think parts-train or equivalent would have available.
