I brought my 2004 Chevrolet Malibu LS into my local Chevrolet dealer for it's 45,000 km (27,000 miles) service. While they were giving it an oil change and auto transmission service they told me that the calipers look like they need to be serviced. So I said ok.

i have a bluetooth car kit that runs from the lighter socket or the other socket that is in my 2003 Malibu ,, my question is and it may sound stupid ,,but if i have this plugged into my lighter will it drain the battery?? Or is it best to use this plugged into the accessory ...

I'm stuck in a water pump replacement on my 98 Malibu. I have everything loose and the exhaust manifold removed with a clear view and access to the water pump. All the bolts are removed and the pump is totally loose. The only problem is the pump won't come out.
