Here's the run down of the situation:
1. Car didn't start - Jumped it and it went 10-12 miles and died at
idle
2. Replaced battery and eventually had to replace positive cables

A friend of mine was recently having some problems with her 97 Lumina.
The battery wasn't holding a charge, so a friend of hers replaced the
battery. Then she had some noises when backing up which she couldn't
duplicate at Myers or Midas, so they couldn't fix that either (Though

We have invested in a fuel pump,fuel filter and a new catalytic converter for
a grand total of nearly $1300 + and it still doesn't give off the take off
power from traffic stops and on the highway. What could be the problem now.
It has 87,000+ miles.

My 99 Malibu 6 CYL auto trans runs fine EXCEPT.
When going over bumps such as railroad tracks @ 35mph or more sometimes
the engine stalls.
The red lights on the dash all seem to go on and the fuel gauge goes to

Left and right blinkers stopped working after working intermittently.
Precipitating event appears to have been driving on flooded roads. Any
obvious cause/cure?

Malibu is an extended sedan, not a wagon
The folks at Chevrolet call the Malibu Maxx a five passenger "extended
sedan," rather than referring to it as a station wagon (heaven forbid).

There is a problem with my 2004 Malibus steering, I have the V6 LS,
when turning left there is no resistance and when turning right there
is normal resistance? I have no Idea what the problem is, the
dealership wants to put a gear box in but I talked with a friend that
