Malibu Emissions question19 Aug 2008 13:07 GMT-
I have a 98 Malibu V6 bought in WA state. I'm moving to Calif soon. I
need to find out if it's possible to have the car's emissions brought
into compliance with CAlif standards so it will pass smog and be
registerable in Calif.

98 Malibu Theft Device11 Aug 2008 18:34 GMT1
The theft device light comes on flashing and the car will not start
until it quits flashing, about 10 - 12 minutes. It is an ongoing but
intermittent problem.
Can I disconnect it or work around it somehow?
2000 Chevy Malibu Whining After Flash Flood11 Aug 2008 13:23 GMT3
My 2000 Chevy Malibu has always driven just fine, no major problems at
all.  A few days ago, I got caught in a flash flood, and now I’m
having trouble.
The water was between 1 - 2 feet, fast flowing, with a whole lot of
Transmission Flush Procedure11 Aug 2008 12:52 GMT4
Having just flushed my coolant system on my 2005 Malibu at $63K miles,
I now would like to do the same with the transmission. I would like to
remove as much of the old fluid as possible. Since dropping the pan
will only remove a portion, I am trying to devise a plan to remove all
Front License Plate Bracket on 2007 Malibu11 Aug 2008 02:42 GMT-
I had a minor front-end fender bender today, and my license plate
bracket sheared off. It looks like the bracket attaches to the frame
by four specialty molybolts.  Can those be purchased at a hardware
store, or do I have to go to an auto parts shop?  Thanks.
Dexcool problem preventative measure11 Aug 2008 01:58 GMT7
I have a 2003 Malibu, 3.1L V6 with about 65K on the clock. So far I
have not had any problem with the cooling system but have read the
horror stories about the Dexcool problem inherent with this
engine/cooling system. Since I am currently not having a problem, what
2000 malibu with noisey relay08 Aug 2008 18:24 GMT7
Anyone ever have a problem with an intermittent noisy/clicking (sound like)
relay in the dash?
On startup, it'll click for 20 or 30 seconds and then quit.  Seems to be
right behind the 4 way hazards switch.
Get Your $100 Gas Voucher for Free08 Aug 2008 08:17 GMT-
I just discovered this new site that's giving away a $100 gas voucher,
for free!
Can you believe the price of gas these days?
In my area it's currently over $4.75 per gallon, and all signs point
Water Fuel to Increase Your Gas Mileage07 Aug 2008 09:28 GMT-
I was also surprised to find out that people were already using this
technology and that you could build your own hydrogen generator for
under $65.

How I Flushed My 2005 Malibu Coolant System05 Aug 2008 02:23 GMT-
How I did the the flush on my 2005 Malibu V6. No intake gasket
problems at 63K but the Dexcool was looking like muddy water so
decided I'd go about changing it out. After looking at the prospects
of pulling the thermostat I decided that was going to be more of a job
