My 88 1500 4wd developed a squeak coming from the drivetrain. It only happens when moving and seems to go away above 20mph. I jacked up the rear end and sun the tires, nothing. I put the transfer case in neutral and spun the tires again. I heard a

| Good way to check injectors | 02 Aug 2004 17:11 GMT | 20 |
I cleaned injectors a couple times by using my mighty vac pump hooke dup to the rail end of the injector, create a vacuum. Hook the injector up to a light 5v AC adaptor, and put the engine end of the injector in a bowl with carb cleaner.

| 97 C1500 5.0 Hard start cold? | 01 Aug 2004 21:55 GMT | 2 |
My Grandfather has a 97 C1500 with a 5.0. I think it's a Vortec engine. It's always been hard to start cold, so I did a full tune up and ran great when warm, but you just couldn't get nice throttle response when you gas it in Park. Now, the truck is almost impossible to start cold. ...
