Can someone tell me what the operating water temperature of a
1989 350 Chevy Silverado 4 X 4 with auto trans is?
The repair shop replaced the thermostat and now my temp reads 220

I just came home from a 2500 mile road trip.
Now when I crank up my truck it sounds like a diesel engine for the first

My Suburban has been dying on the road - - just plain cutting out - dead as
a door nail - no electrical power.
I can rotate the battery cables on the battery terminal and then it gets
power back to the vehicle and it'll start and run.  Sometimes it'll run for

Added a whole quart and that got it up to two holes low.
Anybody know how much was in the system before I added that quart.

I live in Belgium Europe. Trucks that are imported often get the year they
were build replaced by the year they were imported.
Is there any way I can identify the trucks year by differences in the front
end?
