Refurbiishing a Dana 60 rear diff. 14 Sep 2004 02:57 GMT10
I was looking through Jeggs at the ring & pinions.
They have some extreme drag racing set ups. This sounds like the perfect
setup for an extreme rock rig, right? Able to handle extreme stress, torque,
etc. But it says not for street use. I was wondering if anyone could think

I am finding Rotor prices ranging from $30 to $130 for my 99 K1500 Suburban.
What is the difference in such a range?
Rotors14 Sep 2004 02:15 GMT7
I put new pads on my 99 Suburban K1500 4x4 about a month ago.  I then
noticed that there was a slight pulsation in the pedal and decided to
replace the rotors because the last time they were turned they said it would
be the last time and they would have to be replaced.  About a ...

Thermometer in Suburban14 Sep 2004 00:49 GMT2
Found it in front of the radiatior, thanks to all. Now, how do I get to it?
Can't get in from the top or the bottom. I disconnected it from the plug and
the display went to 0C. Reconnected it and it went back up to 128 so I know
I've got the right thing. That part wasn't hard, but ...

Sonoma Shock Absorbers14 Sep 2004 00:24 GMT1
While under my truck this weekend I found the right front shock was wet.
Haven't removed it or viewed enough to confirm its coming out of the
shock but the little truck is a bit twitchy at 70 MPH and sometimes has
a lope which I can't pin on the tires or road. Have considered ...

Lifting a 03'  2wd silverado13 Sep 2004 21:06 GMT4
I'm thinking of lifting my truck, nothing too great, probably 6/7" inch
lift, what are the draw backs if any, and what lift manufacturer should I
consider, or which provides the best kit?
S-10 blazer clunking sound13 Sep 2004 20:07 GMT5
My 94 4x4 S-10 blazer makes a clunking sound only when the wheels are
turned sharply and hit bumps in the road. Any other time the truck rides
great. I just replaced all 4 ball joints (for the 2nd year in a row) and I
can't find anything else loose or bad. Anyone seen anything like ...
Squeeling under the hood.13 Sep 2004 13:03 GMT7
There is a high pitched squealing from under the hood of my '90 Chev half
ton. What is the best way to tell what it is? I believe it may be the
water pump but don't want to replace it without knowing for sure. I'm
going to replace the serp belt, since it needed it anyway, and take ...

Hi all. I just purchased a used 2002 LS Blazer 4x4 with 35,000 miles.
I am having an intermittent problem. when making right turns only,
sometimes, (not always) there is a squeaking sound in the front end
which coincides with speed of the truck, also only sometimes when you
