My truck has the optional rubber floor covering instead of carpet.
I have worked on a lot of vehciles that have this rubber matting and see it
ripped up and torn quite a bit.
What can be done to help prolong its life?

Well, I finally got my headers put on my 94 GMC K1500 350.  What a bitch!!
Had a particularly hard time on the driver side set.....pulling the power
steering pump, modifying the PS pump bracket so I could reuse the stud in
the front hole, and getting the bolt in the back hole.  Man, ...

Hello Group,
We have a 97 Tahoe and the anti-lock brakes are acting up on dry
pavement ... whether your easy or a little hard on them...any ideas? the
Local Dealership said it could be a bearing sensor or something???

Hello all...
Just last week my trusty (and certainly rusty!) '84 Sierra w/ 6.2 started
playing games with the brake pedal. At all times I have "good" power brakes
and I can lock the tires up and slide even when the pedal is misbehaving.

Well I just got a new 2004 Silverado long bed LS. It has everything I could ever need in it, I can hit a button and the side mirrors fold in. I went with the 5.3 L engine. The sales person told me it has 295 HP is this right?

Roughrider M+S and i am wondering if this is a good idea?
I know the M+S are a more aggresive tire but they are much cheaper $160
compared to $230 and living in Edmonton anymore snow grip is good.

size bed Chevy. The metal brake line was rusty and blew out. I am trying to
replace the line from the first joint below the master cylinder to the

Have a 96 2500K with the 6.6  Turbo Diesel.  The motor will not start, "wait to
start" light does not come on, but the fuel pump does pump-up.  The blower fan
will not come on when key is sent to run.  Any ideas?
Have check the batterys, cleaned the battery termals, fues checked ok ...

Two days ago, I checked the power steering fluid on my 2004 Silverado
C1500 and found that it was 8 ounces below the full line. I crawled
under the truck and found that the rack and pinion steering assembly was
leaking fluid.

I have a '93 GMC with 4.3 TBI engine.  It has 185K miles on it and has
generally been trouble free.  A few months ago ( about 5K miles )  I had
some hesitation around 2000 rpm and it was down on power.
