It happened all of a sudden when I started it up today. Idling very high. I sprayed carb cleaner in everything. No good. If I unplug the part on the side of the air cleaner it won't idle at all. Am thinking about buying a code extractor from a local DAP. Any ideas on which one

Looking to build a subwoofer box to put behind the rear seats. Looks like there is plenty of space, but there is a black "tube" looking thing that comes out from the side panel and extrudes behind the rear seat a bit. Haven't taken off all of the panels to see what it is, ...

My passenger door on my 2000 GMC Sierra won't open from the inside. The slide lock just flops back and forth. The inside handle pulls out like it is locked. I can open it from the outside by inserting the key and holding it in the unlock position and then pulling on the outside ...

That outdoor temp thermometer in the RV mirror on my Suburban has gone flakey on me. Occasionally it works right, but most of the time the temp's around 125 (even when there is snow on the ground). The compass works fine. I'm guessing it is a problem with the sensor or grounding. ...

1994 GMC 3500 van, 6.5L diesel, no tach, no turbo the abs light flickered once and all the guages went dead. at the same time, the charging system quit working. i'm driving by using a battery charger nightly.

This group seems to always have the answers.....hopefully to this one as well. The GM site says the 2005 6000 vortec in trucks does not have and EGR valve.

Is it worth it to run synthetic oil,or just a waste of money? Any gains in mpg`s? I don`t know much about it.Always ran the regular stuff. Seems like alot of people are switching to synthetic.
