1997 GMC Yukon 5.7 engine 92,000 miles I just had the fuel pump replaced and for some reason my gas mileage dropped from 18.8 to 16.8 highway driving.

Does anyone know the transmission fluid capacity for the Allison 1000 tranny on a 2004 Silverado 2500HD? I couldn't find this info anywhere in the owner's manual or on Chevy's website. Thanks - Jonathan

Hello, I was wondering if any body knows which has more torque, the 5.7L or a 5.3L? I believe the 5.3 has about 20 more horse power but I don't how much torque they have. Thank you......Ed

alright took my 76 chevy to the truck doctor because of an idling/screeching problem. what happens is that my truck all of a suddens has tons of speed like there is no miss whatsoever. the next day i try to start it up and i smell gas in the cab and it screeches
