aluminum flatbed 91/2 ft long and 71/2 ft wide  was on  77 chevy 3/4 ton
dual wheel.  comes -w- wide mud flaps made out of aluminum channel and
diamond plate....very light and very strong... also parting out 77 chev
truck 3/4 ton  located in s.c. penna.  can send a jpg..

I was just wondering if there are any tricks to changing these. I have
never messed with a Deisel engine and own one. I have 23,000 miles on it
and fuel from all over the US has been pumped into it. Thanks for any
help..

WILL SWITCHING TO DUAL EXHAUST ON A SIVLERADO 5.3 LITER CAUSE ME
TO LOSE TOO MUCH TORQUE FOR TOWING A 24' CAMPER?  SHOULD I STAY
WITH THE SINGLE EXHAUST?  IN EITHER CASE WHAT DIAMETER PIPE SHOULD

I'm looking at picking up a 91 suburban with a 6.2 NA diesel.
It has A/C, but not rear A/C. Is it possible to retrofit
rear A/C to this vehicle?

I'm having a problem with fuel pumps. I'm on my 3rd one.  The last one got
me about 20 miles.  This one got me not quite 40.  Nobody can tell me
what's making it go through fuel pumps like it is.

I have read many posts about this problem and have tried all.  My
knock sensor wire is routed away from exaust and in good condition.
Timing is currently at 6 deg. BTC. have tried 0 - 12 deg.  Replaced
knock sensor and ESC module with new parts.  Ways I produce the code

A follow-up on my oil pressure switch replacement (1990 K1500 5.7L): works
great now- thanks for the help!
BUT, my manual (1990 GM Service Manual- "the big one") said the switch was
located on the driver's side, above the oil filter. The Haynes manual said

89,000 miles, fully loaded, 5.3, red in color, new tires

Is it possible for an individual that is not affiliated with an ase shop to
become ase certified and if so how.  Can anyone tell me where to get good
study information.

It is hard starting, it will run for about 5 sec and die. When I pull start
it, it runs and starts fine. Also when i have somebody hitting the fuel
shutoff solenoid on the pump while cranking it will stay runnning. and ones

OK, I just noticed that my oil pressure gauge drops to about 20psi at idle,
and jumps back up to 60 while abover 1500 RPM.  Now am I crazy or should it
stay relatively steady (I mean within 10 PSI or so)  Oil is full, and no
leaks.  just hit 150K miles on this 4.3V6.  This truck ...
