I'm trying to r/r fuel filter on my 2003 Tahoe 5.3(Its in the driver side frame) I've loosened the the nut on the rear of the filter but how does the other side get removed ?

can someone tell me if the block heater is heating the coolant or the oil in the engine ? i always thought it heats the oil but someone just told me otherwise. TIA

I have a 1994 Silverado 4x4. It is all stock,5.7 Liter. I am looking for new shocks.I live where there is a lot of snow and dirt roads. I would appreciate any suggestions as to what shocks would be good.

Just wanting to see if anyone knows somewhere fairly cheap place to get a shift motor for an electronic transfer case. The dealership wants a little over $400 and junkyards will only sell the whole case. Thanks

I have a 700R4 that seems to be knocking. When I start my truck I hear a light knocking sound from the area of the torque converter. The noise is there all of the time no matter what gear the transmission is in When shifting from park to reverse the noise stops for about one second ...

Placed new side post battery in 2001 cavalier, terminal bolts keep working themselves loose. Question is would lock-tight make difference OR interfere with contact? Ron

So my tranny just started slipping two days ago. It slips in overdrive only (as far as I can tell). How much time do I have left? The truck has 570,000 knms on it so I won't be too crushed if it's a write-off.

Well, maybe not a tune, but it's humming. It starts being noticeable around 20 MPH, does NOT change with engine speed, only with road speed, and goes away when turning even slightly to the right. Both diffs have Mobil 1 75W-90 in them. Truck does not pull in either
