Head gasket or intake gasket?24 Oct 2004 14:22 GMT6
Well, finally got around to replacing the noisy water pump on my '93
C1500 W/T today.  When I was flushing the radiator out, I looked at
the filler neck and noticed that there was a constant stream of tiny
bubbles coming up out of the coolant whenever the engine is running.
98 chev blazer heat problems24 Oct 2004 06:39 GMT5
I have no heat at all. No air come out the floor vent. When selector is
turned to the floor position , cold air comes out the defroster. Selector
position works for the dash vents and the defroster. I was told the heater
core was bad and mode actuator needs replacing which means ...

something like that..
Is there any vehicle out there where parts can be used on a 93
Paper+Oiled Gauze Air Filter23 Oct 2004 16:46 GMT6
I've read much about how oiled surgical gauze type air filters (e.g., K&N,
etc.) allow fine black dust (white glove test) into the engine.  I've
experienced it firsthand on our 98 Tahoe 6.5TD.  I've also experimented with
wrapping about 10 feet of surgical gauze around the K&N ...

My cooling system is working fine now.
I'm back with another question.

Another Air Filter Thread.....23 Oct 2004 03:38 GMT8
Talked to Edelbrocks tech department yesterday, when you use thier MPFI
manifold you use the stock throttle body.  Specs say it is 1 and 5/16"
higher than stock, so far so good. I was having a slight problem with the
Proform case fitting all the way around (it was hitting the MAP ...

Chevy 1980 G30 Sportsvan, 5.7, TH400 etc etc
I kinda forgot (me lazy) to check the brake fluid. So one day I drove it

be a great moment to flush the system. The problem is the bleeder on the

What is the deal with Blazer - S-10 fuel pumps?22 Oct 2004 21:56 GMT5
I have a 2002 S-10. 68,000 miles and I need a fuel pump. I have been hearing
now that this is common. What is the problem with them? My 2000 S-10 had
automatic transmission problems that now I hear are endemic with them
(clutch going in and out like shuddering, then the ...
