Anybody know any better alternative to Haynes & Chiltons?  I have a
'99 Sonoma.  Both Haynes and Chiltons publish a manual that covers
S10/Sonoma 1994-1999 but I find that at least 90% of the info

I just thought all you Bow-Tie boys would like to know that the new Chevy
Equinox has a 3.4 made in China , A auto trans made in Japan by Aisin and
the whole thing is assembled in Canada. I dont mind that but I wish they

How the heck do you set the time on the radio?  I paged through the
section on the radio and I don't see anything that says how to?  This
is the stock radio that comes on the LS model.

Does anyone know anything about the Edelbrock RPM Cat-Back systems?  Do they
sound good?  I'm looking for an exhaust system for my new '04 Sierra.  I've
used Flowmaster in the past, but the Edelbrock system is a little cheaper.

I'm rebuilding and lifting a 85 k5 blazer. I've heard that the stock axles
are pretty weak for off roading. Any sugestions for what to replace them
with and what veichles to get them off of? Thanks guys.

This is more of an annoyance than anything but about once in two or three
months the tube leading to the carburetor from the EGR valve will pop (a
rather loud pop at that can be heard inside the cab over the sound of engine
and radio) off right at startup.  Any ideas as to why this ...

Where would I find the stock radio amplifier (non-bose 9 speaker system) in
a 2001 2500, 8.1 liter suburban?  I am trying to replace the stock
cd/radio/tape with an aftermarket cd player.  I apparently need to find the
amplifer and turn it off.

soon as I turn the truck on the wipers start going.  The switch is in
the off position and the wiper motor is newly replaced a week ago and
worked fine when it was replaced.  they come on full rotation... not
on a delay.  any ideas?

I replaced the TLA in the differential but I still seem to have no engagment
in the fron t axle the transfer case is shifting as far as I can tell. The
front drive shaft does lock up.THe bulbs are good the fuse is good the TLA
is new what else can I check for? I don't have enough ...

I have a 1987 GMC 4X4 and the hub on the right side front doesn't lock, I
started to pull it apart and there is an aluminum peice that was broke deep
inside on the outer shaft, I can't seem to get this part out, the pics I
have show a snap ring holding it in but there isn't any. ...
