1997 Suburban dies after initial start-up?23 Nov 2004 23:52 GMT2
Upon an initial start(most of the time), the engine spits & sputters like

97 Vortec 4.3 Dist. shaft seal23 Nov 2004 16:31 GMT19

the dist? I am having trouble with caps and rotors. They last about two
months. It acts like there is moisture in the cap.

rather rough, lift a firm , quick, jolt. I ve taken it to the dealer twice,
once they overhauled it, then the second time the reset the module, yet the
problem is still present. So what may be the problem?
