Very rough idle,  strong smell of gasoline at startup?22 Nov 2004 12:55 GMT3
'98 5.7 'burb, 110k miles.
Only happened once - about a week ago - and the idle smoothed out in a few
minutes and the smell of raw gasoline went away.
Hasn't happened since, but I figure it's trying to tell me something.

A friend of mine told me what a horse's a.s I'd be if I didn't put an

I have a 95 Chev. S-10 truck, from time to time I have to add coolant. Maybe
the thermostat is sticking? It doesn't leak. But the coolant gets low and I
have to add.
Where is the thermostat located?
plows again, small trucks doing the job.21 Nov 2004 19:11 GMT2
I've spent a lot of money this past spring and summer on my 4x4 88
S-10.  Much more than I ever expected I would.  I really had no plan,
I haven't owned a 4x4 prior to this one, and just wanted something for
winter, to hunt, fish, get around my buddies farm, and not get stuck,

This past weekend after doing a lot of driving, I now smell antifreeze a
lot.  Both outside and inside my vehicle is really smelling a lot like used
antifreeze.  I have a suspicion my heater core maybe failing, but I wanted
to get some other opinions.  It is a 2000 with 40k miles.  ...

ever push snow with an S-10?21 Nov 2004 18:37 GMT4
I know its early to be thinking about this, but I want to be ready.
I've heard of small plows made for these trucks, but never seen one or
know who makes and supplies them.  I believe there is a niche market
where bigger plows and trucks may not be nimble enough to get around.
