'97 5.7 k3500 with 81k on the motor. In the last few weeks it has slowly grown to have a hesitation, slight lack of power when accelerating. Almost a bit jerkey like it was mis-firing. This would be true while in park and reving the motor too.

I have an 85 pickup (V8) that has had new plugs, wires, distributor cap, rebuilt carb, new fuel filters and pump and still has the same problem. Problem- You press down on the gas and truck can not get out of it's own way until the 4 barrel kicks in. Ok...now here is the weird ...

1991 Chevy K-1500 350 Auto I thought there was an easy way to obtain diagnostic codes by using the ignition key, then counting the dash light sequence. A google search hasn't provided the answer I was looking for. I may have confused this with a Jeep

My 87 Chevy Suburban R20 (3/4 ton with all factory towing extras, gas 454 aka 7.3 L, TBI) has several perplexing engine problems. I have read in the newsgroup archives, but my head is spinning, so I need more direct help.

I have a 1990 Chevy Van with a 350 injected engine (120000 miles) which runs fine most of the time but stalls when I pull up to stop for junctions etc. This seems to happen only when the engine is warm. It always starts straight away again and accelerates and runs smoothly ...

1990 1500 350/700od. Got a new filter kit from Gm dealer in a AC Delco package, it contains filter and 2 gaskets-1 cork type and 1 rubber type which is the best to use for a good no leak seal? Parts manager says cork, service manager says rubber ! Humm...What you guys think.
