I just pulled a very good working 305 TBI out of a 1988 Chev truck 2WD, and
put it into a 1987 Chev Silverado 2WD. After hooking everything back up on
the Silverado, the truck fired up right away. It ran great, up until it got

Whaddya guys think?16 Nov 2004 03:53 GMT47
Fellas,
It's happened three times in a row so I know it wasn't just a fluke.  I
recently switched from using M1 oil filters to AC Delco oil filters in my
truck.  After every oil change, for the first 5 or so cold starts, I get

I have a squeal coming from the rear end on acceleration. It's noticeable

hubs. So I changed the rear axel seals. The problem is still ...

99 Silverado - Locking Diff ? & Fluid ?15 Nov 2004 23:46 GMT9
Hello all, I have a 99 Silverado 1500 4x4. According the RPO codes I have
the G80 Locking Rear diff with the 3.73 gears.  The blue tag on the diff
calls for 75w-90 Synthetic, so I bought the Mobil1 gear oil.  I'm
wondering do I also need to add some sort of anti-slip additive?
