2000 blazer 4wd electrical problem05 Jan 2005 06:28 GMT1
I have a 2000 blazer with 60k miles.
The truck seems to have a faulty power or ground. From the time to time the
Trans control module loses power causing a reset.
I can see the 4wd selector switch lights go out then come back on. I have
ID engine by VIN number05 Jan 2005 04:13 GMT8
I'm in a bind. I need to buy an engine (350 under 8500 lbs) for a '93
GMC 2500 van and I'm supposed to find out if I have a 2 or 4 bolt main.
Trouble is, I don't have access to the van at the moment. Can anyone
tell me if I can find this out by the VIN number, and if so, is such
95 Sierra K1500 ABS05 Jan 2005 03:44 GMT2
Anti-locks were kicking in for just about all braking, even moderate
braking on dry pavement, so I did a code scan. Found out the passenger
front speed sensor was bad. I just replaced it but the ABS system doesn't
work still, any ideas?
1977 no-start diagnosis.05 Jan 2005 01:37 GMT12
It seems that it should be simple enough, but I"m having problems.
I don't know why, but apparently the PO of this truck had the positive
battery cable routed into the cab and connected to the starter. OK body
mounted batt, that's fine --- then he had a black cable (presumably
removing "Suburban" emblem on rear04 Jan 2005 23:38 GMT6
I've had to replace one of my barn doors on my '96 Suburban, do to a rather
stupid move on my part, unfortunately.  I got one, in the matching color
even, from a junkyard that is perfect...except that it came off a Yukon.
I need to remove the "Yukon" and replace it with the ...
96 S10 4.3L CPFI UNIT (SPIDER UNIT)04 Jan 2005 23:06 GMT6
I'm having trouble locating the 'spider' CPFI unit for a 96 S10 Blazer with
a 4.3.  Seems the parts stores want to sell me the individual pieces as
opposed to an entire unit.  Does anyone know where I can buy the entire
unit?  I can't even find an AC Delco replacement unit on-line.  ...
REAL air filter testing. More proof that K&N is junk.04 Jan 2005 19:02 GMT2

Let's see
K&N passed MORE dirt/dust and plugged up faster than just about every
other filter tested.

98 Blazer problems04 Jan 2005 06:10 GMT8

Hoping someone here may be able to help me with my problems with the Blazer.
We have had problems with the tranny shifting hard from 1st to 2nd on long

Override Montana Headlights???04 Jan 2005 05:32 GMT10
I have a 2000 Pontiac Montana with automatic headlights.
There are several occasions where we want the damn headlights OFF when the
van is running.  We want to drive through the Holiday lights in Des Moines
with the kids but they do not allow us through with our headlights on.
99 Silverado help04 Jan 2005 04:14 GMT1
Hey everyone,
I have a 99 Silverado Z71 that has been acting interesting lately.  It has
120,000 miles on it so i'm kinda beginning to worry a bit.  At times, when
driving it will idle about 750-1000 RPMs and you can feel it pulling when you
