Price for brand new 6.5 TD 03 Jan 2005 22:27 GMT5
I'd like to know the price for a brand new GM/AM 6.5 TD - turbo charged
diesel. I'm only interested in a so called crate engine or drop-in engine.
Does anyone of you have any idea what such a engine would cost?

99 fuel gauge flipps out 03 Jan 2005 03:40 GMT3
I made the dastardly mastake of filling my truck with the engine running. No I didn't
blow up the world. Yes it probably wasn't the smartest thing to do; however I did live
through it and did no harm to others.
Now my fuel gauge flips back and forth from full to empty with a slow ...

Wiper Problem03 Jan 2005 00:18 GMT1
Granted this is OT (but at least it is a Chevy problem),  I have a
2001 Impala that when the wiper switch is in the "off" position, the
wiper arms stop in the straight up position.  This just started while
the wife was heading to work a couple of days ago.  So she takes it to

I have a 2000 blazer with 60k miles.
The truck seems to have a faulty power or ground. From the time to time the
Trans control module loses power causing a reset.
I can see the 4wd selector switch lights go out then come back on. I have
I-5 02 Jan 2005 02:03 GMT13
Does it really put out more power than the 4.3L V-6 in my S-10?
Well, I only have a little over 3000 miles on the I-5 so far.  It does seem
to perform well, but I'm not sure the transmission shifts at the best points
or firmly enough to take advantage of it.  It pulls my little boat ...

How do parts know the WORST time to grenade?02 Jan 2005 01:43 GMT14
Y'all,
Anyone else ever notice that parts tend to grenade just when you need them
the most?  Like today for example, my windshield washer pump crapped out
driving on the highway in snow, salt, ash and other assorted crud behind a
