I have a 1987 Chevy Silverado with 350 cid engine. I want to remove all of the emissions control equipment. Does anyone have any tips? How will this effect the way the engine runs? Will I have to replace any electronic parts to make it run properly?

ok so i put on new plugs wires cap and roter. the plugs/wires that were arcing to the block are still arcing. did i miss something? should reinstall the plugs? is there suppose to be silicone or something between the plug and the wire?

Hey all, I just bought a 1982 Scottsdale 305/700R4 and most things work fine except for the fuel gauge and now the temp gauge. I'm not much of a mechanic but I can't afford to farm out the work so I'll have to try to muddle through as best I can.

Took my 87 Chevy pickup (4.3 ltr) up a steep hill today and man she pinged heavy all the way. Hadn't really noticed it too much before just the odd time. I shouldn't need premium gas for it should I? Dave

I have an 88 s10 with a 2.8 liter and have the heads replaced but now I have to strip the backets off the old heads and switch them onto the new heads. Here is the problem, the tensioner pully is mounted on the air pump bracket but over top of a bolt which releases the bracket ...
