SB 400 Crank15 Feb 2005 04:50 GMT10
I am debating on having my crank turned or buying a new one for 125 bucks.
My problem is I purchased new rods for my SB 400 and they are the 5.7 that

#1. our techs use the PF 59 'cuz it's just easier to hand-tighten due to
added length-shouldn't be a problem with it's use...
#2. can use the PF 59 but prefers the 46 due to internal differences, i.e.

said to use part number whatever(MOT-1-I think) and ...
Alternator help  and other questions for 1989 full-Size  Blazer (V10) w/350 V814 Feb 2005 10:02 GMT1
With the lights on my alternator is only providing 12.6 Volts across the
battery terminals at idle.  At higher RPMS it's fine. Does this mean that
the alternator should be replaced?  Also I have been getting an intermittent
check engine light. Any ideas on what would cause that?
