I have a 2000 S-10 4x4 with the 4.3L
My problem is a clunking sound which seems to be coming from under the front
end. It only happens when
the steering wheel is turned hard to the right under initial load.

I have a 96 chevy S10. I need to know how to get through the firewall
to hook up hood glow and my fog lights?? We have looked everywhere for
a place to go through. Maybe we have overlooked something?

97 Z71: Loud transfer case 'clunk' going from High->Low 4x431 Mar 2005 06:47 GMT2
I have a 97 Z71 4x4 I've had since '03.  When I push the Hi-Lo 4x4 button
that switches between 4x4 Hi and Low, there is a loud clunk or thud from
the xfer case.  I never thought much of it (works fine) but someone
recently said that was not normal.  Anyone else have this loud clunk ...

Hey, has anyone out there ever had any problems with the fuel injectors for
this model year Safari?  I've had to replace mine twice in the past 6 years,
is that normal?  And if anyone has, how can you prevent them from breaking
down?

The switch turns the stsrter motor, but it doesn't engage. I suspect the
starter motor clutch is bad. Is there any suggestion for temporary fix til I
can get replacement. I am in the middle of nowhere and a replacement is a
couple of weeks away. The truck only has 248,000 miles.. ...

You know the story, a '99 5.7L has 79K miles on it and is beginning to lose
coolant!!! Changed the oil this evening and discovered white streaks
trailing down the front of each side and along the bottom of the oil pan and
a closer look shows white powder on the front half of each ...

I have a 1992 1/2 ton  4x4 pick up, w/4.3 cu. in. and 4 speed manual
transmission.  I am currently replacing the cluch so i removed the
transfer case and am trying to get the tranny out but am having a
difficult time dropping it down because of the shifter stub. the stub is

Both have good batteries.
I have done a bit of research on line, and it does appear that folks
here agree that the programming process I tried is the correct one.

What product(s) do you recommend in repairing scratches in clearcoat?  
I have a few hairline scratches on the top of my Tahoe.  They don't
look very deep, but just having them there is annoying me.

Not a Chevy, but is a General Motors Vehicle.  My '87 GMC High Sierra will
no longer switch from one fuel tank to the other.  I've replaced the switch
but still no go.  Anyone have any ideas where to start?
