I just pulled the HEI dizzy, intake manifold and heads off of my 1985 K5
with a 1985 305 engine.
I also have 1972 chevelle with a 1972 307 in it, and it has valve train
issues. I was wondering if I could use the 305 heads to complete this engine

Got a 1990 Chev 4x4 truck with 350, 700r4 tranny and stock size tires. My
question is what should my truck be revving at driving 60mph? I threw in a
tach and it is revving at 2600 rpm @ 60. Some say that's too high, your
tranny must be slipping. Not sure on what gears I'm running ...

I have a 1998 S-10, I took it to have it smogged and told to change
the cat. conv., after the light would go off. Well I changed it and
the light is still on. Everything else passed. ANY IDEAS!

I have an 88 s10 2.8l 4x4 and the air pump seized.  I found a shorter belt
which allows me to just by pass it but my question is what does the pump do?
If I plug the hole in exhaust manifold and by pass the pump will it still
run well or what would or could the consequences be?  ...

1995 Chevy Suburban 1500.  Has factory oil cooler adaptor where filter fits.
Does this engine use the OEM oil filter?
