I've got the kind that screw in from the side.
Ground side, the threads of the screw look nice and clean/shiny.
Hot side they're dull, red/brownish in the grooves.
Couple times I've had starting problems that were cured by wiggling and/or

I am going to follow instructions as layed out in the haynes book to fix the
valve lash on my 2.8l but it doesn't layout the valves.  Can anybody tell me
which are intake and exhaust valves?

My '92 GMC 1/2 Ton 4X4 (350) with 140K miles is failing the California
idle smog test.  The test allows 120 Maximum HC (PPM) and my truck
tested 175.  The oil was clean at the time of the test.  The 2500 rpm
test for HC shows only 24 PPM out of an allowable limit of 180 PPM, so

cylinder. Never put in a tach before, any reason this one wouldn't

During last winter, I noticed my blower motor was not operating, so all
year I have put in a new blower, but still will not run. I put in a new
relay, and still will not run...??? Also, here is a problem that GOD
himself cant answer. I have no heat, I put in a new water pump,

2 wiper scrape..What do you do to try to remove them.

hi, i'm new to this new group thing.
i have a 98 tahoe. a friend has been trying to help me figure out what
is going on with my steering. the power assist goes out at about 25
mph aroud sllight curves, its kind of scary, my friend has found some

Will a lift kit void the standard warranty? Even a 2 inch one?
And, is the standard warranty extendable if the truck already has 20,000
miles on it? Is it worth the cost if it can be extended?

He wants to put new tires and wheels on.
275/55/20 I told him he has to reprogram the computer,But doesn`t

Can someone tell me if a 92 s10 blazer should have a vented gas cap? I had
lost the gas cap and I bought a vented gas cap and seem to be having vapor
lock problems now.

I have a 1990 Chevy Caprice. It has a 5.0 liter 305 according to the
VIN and the block. Unfortunately, It doesn?t say if its a BB or SB. I
was wondering if it would be a short block or big block. Finding parts
on online auctions is difficult when you don?t know. Also considering
