Sorry to re-open this can of worms but I'm looking for some information.
There are several threads in various newsgroups concerning the effectiveness
and safety of a transmission flush.  Some folks (myself included) prefer
dropping the pan, cleaning it out and changing the filter ...

I was changing the universal joints the other day on the suburban and
noticed that basically it has dual exhaust all the way to the muffler that
then combines both sides out one pipe. Obviously it would be easy to add

I've run out of gas before in my 2000 Yukon (no lectures please) and it
has resulted in the fuel pump needing replacement.  I'm told by GM
Service (who are awesome in my neighborhood) that the fuel pump is in
the tank and is very sensitive to running dry. Last time I had an

!990 C1500 new 350 creat motor, blew a heater hose today and ran about 5
miles with gage at red line. Fixed hose but did i do damage? runs good no
water in oil.

My first message listed my truck as a Ford S10 in error.  My truck is a
Chevy S10 with 60,000 miles.  It cranks up as if it's going to start put
it will not kick over.  Thank you Eugene nine for

I'm fixing up my 03' Silverado. I just put 20" Titan rims on. I want to
get a Hypertech 3 programmer to help with performance. Does anyone know
how well it works? Also I want a new hood. Ramairhood.com has a great
one coming out next month for the Silverado. It's alittle expensive.

Hi, I own a 1998 chev xcab 4x4.  It makes a rattle noise when I drive it
down the street.  Sounds like I am dragging a chain or something.  I have
been told that it is my oxygen sensors.  I was wondering how hard they are
to change and if you can tell me how.

FWIW Last night as I went to leave for work my truck (60,000 miles)was

at 4000 rpm.  I called onstar and got the code" idle circuit module". After
examination for a module and not knowing what I was looking for I guessed it

My dad is out of town and his truck will not start.  The dash has an idiot
light on which shows a lock.  The lights will come on, but the truck will
not even turn over.  Any ideas?
