I have an 88 Chev K1500 that was stolen a couple of years ago. The wonderful thief smashed the steering column to wander away with the truck. I had it rebuilt and now the column is loose, not at the steering wheel, but at the shift lever..moves up and down. How do I tighten it up?? ...

My wife just picked up a 2001 Jimmy with the 4 wheel automatic option. I have no idea when she should switch from 2Hi to 4Auto or to 4Hi. This truck is only used in the city or hiway. I can not imagine it ever going off road.
