On my 1995 s-10 pickup the brake caliper moves about a inch when the brakes are applied at idle. Is this normal? Sounds like the brakes are grabbing extra hard. I recently had the rotor cut and install new semi-metallic disc pads. Can anyone help me?

| new info | 04 Sep 2005 04:45 GMT | 4 |
I checked the ODB scanner again this morning and it's reporting a misfire on #4 (p0304). I didn't let it run long but suspect it would report the random misfire again. Its running way too rough to be just the #4 cylinder.

Anyone have an update on this: In Memphis, an independent tinkerer named John M. Hewitt is using a hydraulic system on what used to be a Chevy S-10 pickup. The truck, which he says accelerates adequately with an engine of less than 100 horsepower,
