More and more often my 93 jimmy has been puffing out some smoke when I start it up. From what I know, it the valvestem seals. Would thicker oil help at all? Also, what happens when the valve stem seals break? Would it lead to any other damage on the car?

I am working with several Silverado type pickups in the 1999~2005 range. It appears that all the cigarette lighter/accessory power ports are hot all the time. Some of the field guys leave things plugged in and turned on and run down the vehicle batteries when the engine is not

4.3 1998 chevy motor will not start or attempt to. were sure it has to do with the fuel not getting to the cylinders. when you spay starting fluid in there it starts right up. we replaced the relay for the fuel pump but that still doesnt work.

the low beam headlights won't go on with the headlight switch,but they do work on daylight running lights,the relay is new and so is the headlight switch.could it be the switch assembly in the steering collum?
