The daytime running lights on my 1996 Tahoe have stopped working. I have check and confirmed: 1. That the parking brake is fully released (parking brake light on the dash is off and green DRL light on the dash is on).

The 4-wheel drive will not shift into front wheel drive. Light indicator will not light. But it will go into low range.

Just purchase a new 2006 Avalanche. Had a couple of questions for the group. First, why does GM not offer a 3.73 axle ratio in the 1500? You can get 3.42, or 4.10 only. The 3.73 is an option in the 2500.
