I've had my 96 K3500 with a 454 7.4L engine for a few months and ever since the weather cooled down from the hot summer days it's hit or miss everytime I try to start it. Now when I try to start it, it starts up running very rough about 70%

I have a 98 S-10 blazer, 4x4 with a 4 speed automatic. Recently while driving it in 2 wheel drive it made a loud grinding noise and started vibrating really bad. It would not even move in 2 wheel drive. I put it in 4 wheel high to get it off the road, it was drivable but still ...

I have not had any air coming from the heater of my 92 S10 Blazer for months now. You can hear a load hissing (vacuum leak) in the vent control area on the dash. I went to a junk yard and got a new unit, replaced mine and the leak is now

| Automatic Transmission service | 07 Dec 2005 04:45 GMT | 3 |
Can you tell me if there is a special way to change the ATF on my automatic transmission? It's in an 02 S10 Blazer 4x4. It looks like it needs to be changed, but I am curious if I should have the service department do it. I know I can drop the fluid and change the gasket

Just canvasing to see if anyone else has come accross their 4x4 not engaging (lo or hi) when the dash console buttons are pressed? I took my truck to the dealer last week and they didn't sound too assuring about what it was. They said it was a computer module that was not ...

Won't go into 4H or 4L. Push button, 2H lite blinks as normal then goes out. Can hear the usual "click" under dash, but no 4X. Have checked all fuses. Tried grounding pin 13 for diagnostic code (on 4X button lites), nothing.

| 4500 Question | 06 Dec 2005 14:36 GMT | 2 |
If I'm not in the right forum for this, please let me know. I just purchased an 05 GMC 4500 4x4 cab & chassis, with a Duramax diesel and an Allison trans. I was fortunate to find this truck during the "Employee Discount" promotion this summer and saved a lot of money.

| Edelbrock carb running super rich... | 06 Dec 2005 12:13 GMT | 15 |
I have a 1986 K5 Blazer. A new 290HP crate engine was put in about a year and a half ago. At that time, the mechanic deemed the stock Quadrajet to be shot, so I put on an Edelbrock. The Edelbrock is a 600cfm carb, with electric choke and vacuum

| Tach for testing purposes... | 06 Dec 2005 02:36 GMT | 2 |
I'd like to have a tach for testing purposes and setting idle speed and whatnot, but not necessarily a permanent fixture on the dash. Are the $30 cheapos found at Pep Boys easy to connect and disconnect? Ideally, I'd like something that just clips onto a plug wire like a

I have an 05 short bed 4X4 work truck. Because of the extra springs in the back it doesn't sit level and I see a little more wear on the front tires than the back. Anyone have any thoughts on the best way to bring the front up to level it out? It needs to come up 2-4 inches and ...
