installs in line on one of the heater hoses. Since the box and directions
were lost long ago does any one know which hose is supposed ...

I have a 95 C1500 that has had the windshield wiper circuit board replaced
under recall.  It worked fine for about 6 months but now will only work on HI
or Fast mode.  Has anyone had similar problems or does anyone know if GM will
stand behind this recall again?

I've done well over 100 brake jobs in my life.  Weekend mechanic, but some

the car / friend.

Coolant Question21 Dec 2005 22:19 GMT1
I have a 02 S-10 with a V-6. Is it normal to add coolant
once or twice a year? Can not find any place where it would
be leaking. Don't have to add much maybe a half a cup.

Unable to remove center bolt on harmonic balancer pulley21 Dec 2005 18:19 GMT13
Anyone have a good idea for removing the center bolt (5/8") on the
pulley attached to the harmonic balancer?  All I can manage to do is
crank the engine when I yank on it, and I can't find an obvious place
to lock the balancer or pulley in place.  Very frustrated, any ideas?

Differential Strength - opinions wanted21 Dec 2005 02:59 GMT13
I'm planning on doing a straight front axle conversion on my 96 Yukon -
kinda fed up with the IFS stuff.  Not only are the spring rates too
soft with the stock torsion bars, but the lack of available locking
differentials is also a problem.  It rides like a car, but I want more
Autotrac Transfer Case (NP236)21 Dec 2005 02:58 GMT2
Can someone send me a link to a tech site that talks about the NP236
transfer case?  I would like to understand more about the autotrac mode.  My
assumption is that in this mode, the front axel must be locked up and the
transfer case left unlocked unless the computer sense slippage.
is this a common leak?21 Dec 2005 00:41 GMT8
My 1985 Chevy S10 Blazer 2.8 engine 4x4 sprung a water leak right around the
timing chain cover and my mechanic said it was the gasket - since this
gasket was only 4 years old which was when the engine was rebuilt ,  is this
a common problem or just my bad luck?  Also about how many ...

Any comments on changing the gearing on a 92 Chev K1500 Pickup
from 3.42 to 3.73 ?    I know this is not much of a change but was
wondering if any real benefit would be gained.

93 S10 will not turn off20 Dec 2005 20:36 GMT11
My 1993 S10  pick up will start and run. But I can't turn the key off.
I have to pop the clutch with the brake on to cut the engine. The key
comes out. But the switch will not go back off. When I leave the truck
for any length of time I have to disconnect the battery.
