I own a 1999 Chevrolet Suburban C1500 with the 5.7 Vortec engine.
Occassionally when I try to start this vehicle it starts and conks out
after about 3 seconds.  After turning the ignition swith off and back
on the engine only starts for a brief moment and then acts as if the

when the weather turns cold, my truck takes alot longer to start/turn over.
What's the most probably cause of this?  I'm thinking weak batter myself but want other opinions.
When the weather is warm it starts fine

I had a new windshield installed and I guess they didn't hook all the lines

Recently my 95 C1500 with ABS brakes has started having brake problems.  If I
hold firm pressure on the brake pedal, it will slowly but eventually be
depressed all the way to the floor.  It pumps up very quickly with only 2-3
pumps on the pedal.    There are no leaks at the wheel ...

   I have 1996 Silverado XLT -w- a 305 "M" code engine and 4L60E tranny
with 185,000+ miles. It has no leaks but uses about 1/2 quart every oil
change. I figure at about 200,000 miles I might consider replacing the motor
& rebuilding the tranny. I'd like to go up to a 5.7 Vortec ...
